Forsyth Technical Community College has opened its Center for Advanced Manufacturing. The new facility includes an additive manufacturing lab with six state-of-the-art 3-D printers as well as dedicated areas for students to learn about design, machining and robotics. The facility is housed within a 30,000-square-foot space, with renovations and equipment costing more than $5 million. Forsyth Tech financed the center with funds from bonds, private donations, and a Golden Leaf Foundation grant.
