Amada North America Inc. will build an $82 million manufacturing plant in High Point. The project is expected to create up to 201 jobs. The company manufactures of a full line of precision, sheet metal fabricating equipment that includes CNC turret punch presses, lasers, press brakes, flexible manufacturing systems, software and tooling. The average wage will be $37,721 annually.
