Apprenticeship Randolph, a collaboration between Asheboro City Schools, Randolph Community College, the Randolph County School System and local manufacturers, starting its second year, enables High school juniors and seniors to receive on-the-job training and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Technology from Randolph Community College. During its first year, 16 apprentices signed up to work with 11 local manufacturers. In 2018, the program will sign up to 30 new apprentices to work with 16 local industry partners.
